Comparing the Interlude between the Sixth and the Seventh Seal and the Interlude between the Sixth and the Seventh Trumpet

great_tribulation_interlude_seals_trumpets_bowls_seven1

In describing the events associated with the opening of the seven seals, John seems to take a break between the six and the seventh seal, the so called interlude, where he seems to describe two apparently unrelated visions.  The vision of the 144000 who were sealed from the 12 tribes of Israel (Rev 7:1-8) and a vision of a Great Multitude from every tribe and language who had been through the Great Tribulation and appear in heaven (Rev 7:9-17).

Similarly, when John is describing the events associated with the seven trumpets, he takes a break between the sixth and the seventh trumpet, another interlude, and describes two further visions that seem somewhat unrelated.  The vision of the angel and the little scroll (Rev 10:1-11) and the vision of the Gentiles trampling the Holy City for 42 months and the two witnesses prophesying for 1260 days.  (Rev 11:1-14)

Post tribulationists (who believe the rapture is post-tribulation) say that the second coming of Christ to rapture the church takes place at the beginning of the last trumpet which coincides with the seventh seal. The Wrath of God is the seven bowls which are part of the seventh trumpet.

Pretribulationists (who believe the rapture is pre-tribulation) say that the second coming of Christ to rapture the church occurs at or just before the seventh seal but the trumpets, being the wrath of God, follow the seals and are not concurrent with the seals as suggested by post tribulationists.

It is, therefore, interesting to see if there is any correlation and concordance between the events mentioned in the two interludes between the sixth and the seventh seals and the sixth and the seventh trumpets.

John was given a vision of a scroll with seven seals which nobody was worthy to open but the Lamb of God who was slain and with his blood purchased for God people from every tribe and nation people and language.  In the ensuing chapters, the Lamb begins to open the scroll which can only be the Book of Life.  Once the Book of Life is opened, the Children of God are revealed and the Lamb Christ returns to redeem his people.  It, therefore, makes sense that the rapture should take place at or just before the seventh seal is opened.

The last trumpet is also linked to the rapture of the church. (1Cor 15:51-52) It is at the seventh trumpet that the Kingdom of this World becomes the Kingdom of our Lord.  (Rev 11:15)  It is at the Last trumpet that God judges the nations and pours out his wrath. (Rev 11:18)

The Angel that appears in the interlude between the sixth and the seventh trumpets is holding a Little Scroll which has been opened. (Rev 10:2) This Little Scroll would appear to be the same scroll that the Lamb has been opening.  Thus by the time the seventh trumpet sounds, the Book of Life has been opened.

When the Book of Life is opened, the rapture and the first resurrection take place.  A Great multitude appear in heaven.  The Great Multitude appearing in heaven appears between the sixth and the seventh seals.

If the Trumpets are aligned with the seals, if they recapitulate the seals and are concurrent with the seals, then the interludes would also be aligned.  The opening of the Little Scroll would be concordant with the Great Multitude appearing in heaven.

What about the other events that take place in the interludes between the sixth and the seventh seals and the sixth and the seventh trumpets?

As already mentioned, the seventh trumpet is when the kingdom of this world becomes the kingdom of our lord.  The Millennium is about to start.  God just has to finish pouring out his wrath on the nations as the Seventh trumpet sounds.

What can be made of the vision of the Gentiles trampling the Holy City for 42 months (Rev 11:2) and the two witnesses prophesying for 1260 days (Rev 11:3) in the interlude between the sixth and the seventh trumpet?

The duration of the great tribulation will be 1260 days or 42 months which is 3.5 years.  (Rev 12:6, Rev 12:14 & Rev 13:5-8)  The point at which this vision is given, the great tribulation is about to end.  It would, therefore, appear that the gentiles finish trampling the Holy City at the time the seventh trumpet sounds and the two witnesses also finish prophesying at this point too.

What about the 144000, when are they sealed?  The 144000 taken from the 12 tribes of Israel are no doubt the Women who is pursued by the dragon in Revelation chapter 12.  The woman is pursued by the dragon for 1260 days or times time and half a time.  The 144000 would therefore have been sealed at the beginning of the great tribulation.

The 144000 being sealed and the woman being taken care of for 1260 days, the gentiles trampling the Holy City for 42 months and the two witnesses prophesying for 1260 days, all span the duration of the great tribulation but are not mentioned until it is almost over – just before the seventh seal or the seventh trumpet (assuming they are simultaneous).

These visions are, therefore, retrospective or recapitulations given the point at which they are mentioned.

The interludes between the sixth and the seven seal and the sixth and the seventh trumpets do appear to be concordant and concurrent with one another.  The Little Scroll is opened just as the seventh seal is opened and as the seventh trumpet sounds and then the rapture takes place and a great multitude appear in heaven.   Also, the 144000 are revealed having been sealed and protected for 1260 days.  The Holy City has been trampled for 42 months and the two witnesses are about to finish 1260 days of prophesying.

Revelation paints a glorious picture with many elements that are described one at time rather than in time sequence.

Failing to realize that the seventh trumpet is concurrent with the seventh seal results in confusion as to when the rapture occurs.

rapture_armageddon_seventh_seal_trumpet1-fw

The great multitude appearing in heaven is closely related to the seventh seal being opened.  The great multitude appear in heaven when the rapture takes place.

For those who believe that the trumpets follow sequentially after the seals, the rapture is thought to occur pre-tribulation when the sixth or seventh seal is opened (the trumpets being God’s wrath).  These brothers and sisters then have to explain away the verses that link the rapture to the seventh trumpet.  The first six seals certainly sound like tribulation too!

For those who believe in sequential seals and trumpets, and believe the rapture is at the last trumpet (post tribulation), they have to explain away the fact that the great multitude appearing in heaven is closely linked to the sixth and seventh seals.

If the Seventh trumpet is concurrent with the seventh seal, then there is no discrepancy.  The Church is raptured in the twinkling of an eye as soon as the seventh trumpet begins to sound (Rev 10:7).  The rapture is post-tribulation (after 1260 days) but pre-wrath (before the bowls of God’s wrath are poured out during the seventh trumpet).

The Church will be spared God’s wrath (1Thes 5:9) which is poured out when the seventh trumpet sounds.  (Rev 11:18)

The Church will be raptured at the last trumpet as soon as it sounds (Rev 10:7 & 1Cor 15:51-52).

Jerusalem will be trampled for 42 months (Revelations 11:2) while the two prophets prophesy for 1260 days (Rev 11:3).

Israel will be protected for 1260 days; times time and time and a half.  (Rev 12:6,14) while the dragon pursues her offspring (the Church). (Rev 12:17)

The beast is given authority for 42 months to make war against God’s holy people and conquer them.  (Rev 13:5-7)

Then the seventh trumpet sounds (Rev 11:15) and the rapture and the first resurrection take place. (Rev 10:7 & 1Cor 15:51-52)

The seven Bowls are part of the Last Trumpet

The mystery of God will be accomplished when the seventh angel begins to sound his trumpet as the seventh seal is opened.

secondcomingchristseventhsealtrumpet-fw

Revelation 10:7

But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”  (NIV)

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. (KJV)

The mystery of God will be accomplished when the seventh angel begins to sound his trumpet.  This mystery is also mentioned in connection to the last trumpet in 1Cor 15:51-52.  This mystery is that we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed in the twinkling of an eye when the seventh angel begins to sound his trumpet.

1Cor 15:51-52

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

When the Seventh angel sounds his trumpet, Christ has opened the last seal on the scroll which is part of the book of life containing the names of the Children of God.  It is time for the Children of God to be revealed.  When the trumpet sounds, poof, in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, the first resurrection and the rapture take place.

Rom 8:18-19

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.  For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

Creation is waiting in eager expectation for the Children of God to be revealed.  This will happen when the Lamb opens the last seal on the Scroll which is part of the Book of Life.  At that moment, the Children of God will be redeemed from the Earth but not before those who are asleep in Christ are raised.

Rev 11:15-18

The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.” And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign. The nations were angry, and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small—and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”

When the seventh angel sounds his trumpet, the kingdom of this world becomes the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah and he will reign for ever and ever.  The mystery of God is accomplished (Rev 10:7) and the sons and daughters of God are revealed.  The Book of Life, the little scroll has been opened and those who inherit eternal life as the Children of God are raptured or resurrected to be with Jesus and will remain with him forever.

But there is more to the seventh trumpet; the Nations were angry for the time of God’s wrath has come.  The seventh trumpet is the third woe and it contains the seven bowls of God’s wrath which are for the whole Earth (not just a third of the Earth as was the case with the trumpets).  The seventh trumpet is the time when God pours out his wrath on the nations who have been left behind after the Church has been removed and the 144000 Jews Sealed.

The dead outside of Christ are not resurrected for judgment until after the Millennium.

Rev 6:12-17

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red,  and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.  The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.  They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their  wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” (NIV)

The sixth seal involves an earthquake, signs in the sky, stars falling to earth and the heavens receding like a scroll being rolled up.  The kings of the Earth, princes, general, the rich and mighty and everybody tried to hide form what was about to happen in the next seal.  For the time of God’s wrath has come.  God’s wrath will not be poured out until the Church is removed and the 144000 are sealed.  (1Thes 5:9)  This is exactly what happens next and then the seventh seal is mentioned.

Rev 7:1-4  &  9-14

144000 Sealed from Israel

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.  Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea:  “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.

A Great Multitude appear in Heaven

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.  And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (NIV)

After the sixth seal, but before the seventh seal is mentioned, the 144000 from all the tribes of Israel and the Great Multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language are described.  Finally the seventh seal is mentioned, almost in passing.   When it was opened, there was ‘silence in heaven for half an hour’.

The sealing of the 144000 and the rapture of the Great multitude could well be what the seventh seal is all about as the names on the little scroll are not known until the seventh seal is opened.  When the scroll is opened the rapture and the first resurrection take place.

Rev 8:1

When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. (NIV)

This verse really belongs to chapter 7. It follows the discourse on the Great multitude and the 144000.   As nothing else is said about the seventh seal, perhaps the sealing of the 144000 and the rapture of the great multitude are what the seventh seal is about.  They are not just placed  ‘in between’  the sixth and the seventh seal.

The seventh seal therefore is intimately liked to the rapture and the first resurrection as well as God’s wrath.  This is also what the seventh trumpet is about.  The seventh seal and the seventh trumpet are, therefore, coincident with one another.

This begs the question: “What about the other trumpets, are they coincident with the respective seal.

The seven bowls of God’s wrath are part of the seventh trumpet and are poured out after the Church has been raptured.

If the seventh seal coincides with the seventh trumpet, maybe the the other seals coincide with their respective trumpets

trib_to_scale

The seven Bowls are part of the Last Trumpet

The first resurrection and the rapture of the Church at the second coming of Christ occur at the Last Trumpet.  A great multitude will appear in heaven when this happens.

The great multitude appear in heaven after the sixth seal, immediately before the seventh seal is mentioned.

The seventh seal is mentioned almost in passing immediately after the great multitude appears in heaven.   When the seventh seal is opened, there is rest in heaven for “half an hour”.   Not much else is said about the seventh seal and then Revelation moves on to describe the angels with the seven trumpets.

It is quite likely that the great multitude appearing in heaven is linked to the seventh seal being opened.

The second coming of Christ, therefore, coincides with the sounding of seventh trumpet, the opening of the seventh seal as well as the rapture of the Church and the first resurrection.

If the seventh trumpet coincides with the opening of the seventh seal, then could the other trumpets  coincide with their respective seals?  ie the first trumpet coincides with the first seal, the second trumpet coincides with the second seal, third trumpet – third seal etc.

This would surely be very neat and glorious and would certainly “preach well“, but is it true?

Are there any Bible verses that would confirm or deny that this is true?

Certainly, the events of the first trumpet (hail fire and blood burning up a third of the Earths trees and grass) are not incompatible with the appearance of the Antichrist in the first seal. The events of the second trumpet (a mountain ablaze killing a third of the sea creatures and ships) could be associated with the second seal being opened – war. The events of the third trumpet (a third of the fresh waters of the Earth turned bitter) could be associated with the third seal – famine. The events of the fourth trumpet (a third of the sky is darkened) could be associated with the fourth seal being opened – death.  The events of the fifth trumpet (those with the mark of the beast are tormented for 5 months) could be associated with the fifth seal being opened – martyrs.  The events of the sixth trumpet (a third of mankind is killed by 200,000 mounted troops) could be associated with the events of the sixth seal being opened – signs in the sky.  And the events of the seventh trumpet (the rapture and the first resurrection) probably are associated with the the seventh seal being opened – the great multitude appearing in heaven.

While there do not appear to be any conflicts or major objections to the seals and trumpets being synchronous, other arrangements of the seals and the trumpets are possible.  (see below)

The seven bowls of God’s wrath are part of the seventh trumpet and would also coincide with the seventh seal.

If the seventh seal is coincident with the seventh trumpet (as both are linked to the second coming of Christ), then it is unlikely that the trumpets simply follow the seals.

If the seventh trumpet is coincident with the seventh seal, it is likely that the other trumpets precede the seventh seal.  The trumpets and the seals could, therefore, be synchronous.  ie when a seal is opened, a trumpet is sounded

When Christ opens the seventh seal, the seventh trumpet sounds, the Children of God are revealed, Christ returns to redeem the Church and resurrect dead Christians. There is rest in heaven for half an hour and then Christ returns with an army of believers to strike down the nations as the seven bowls of Gods wrath are poured out.

Revelation0

  • Whenever a seal is opened, an angel announces it with a trumpet.
  • This should serve as a warning to those who know what to look for.
  • Mankind has a chance to repent even after the sixth trumpet is sounded.
  • Once the seventh trumpet is sounded, it is too late to repent, the church will be raptured and the dead believers resurrected.  God will pour out his wrath on the nations who are left behind
  • God’s wrath and the judgment on the Nations follow the sixth seal.
  • The seventh trumpet brings with it God’s wrath.
  • The seven bowls are God’s wrath and are part of the seventh trumpet.

A more traditional view of the Seals Trumpets and Bowls

  • Here all the trumpets are coincident with the seventh seal and the bowls are coincident with the seventh trumpet.
  • Thus the the seventh seal, the seventh trumpet and the seventh bowl coincide with the end of the age.

Another view of the seals trumpets and bowls

  • Here the trumpets are spread out but not synchronous with the seals.
  • The seventh trumpet almost coinciding with the seventh seal.
  • The bowls are spread across the last three trumpets.

In non of the above, do the trumpets and bowls follow sequentially after the seventh seal.

Revelation 11:15-19

The Seventh Trumpet

15The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.”

16And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17saying: “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.

18The nations were angry, and your wrath has come.

The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small—and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”

19Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.

From here we can see that the seventh trumpet (which is also the last trumpet) signifies the end of the age.  The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord and his Messiah and he shall reign for ever and ever.

The nations were angry for now had come the time for judging the nations on earth who are alive.  (The dead outside of Christ are not resurrected until after the millennium at the Great White throne – this is the second resurrection or the pagan resurrection)

The judgment of the nations occurs at the Battle of Armageddon which is also part of the seventh trumpet.

The seventh trumpet is also the time when the believers dead and alive will be rewarded for the things that they have done in the body.

The last trumpet is of course the time when Christ returns and the time when the rapture and the first resurrection take place.

The seventh trumpet must span a period of time  (possibly 75 days = 1335-1260) but the rapture occurs instantaneously, in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, as soon as the trumpet sounds.

The seventh seal and the seventh trumpet appear to be synchronous or co-incident events as they are both connected to the rapture, the first resurrection and the second coming of Christ. They both seem to herald the end of the age.

Revelation 7:9 – 8:2

The Great Multitude in White Robes

9After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

11All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”

13Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”  14I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.

16‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat. 17For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ ”

1When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

When the great multitude in white robes appears before the throne in heaven, it means the rapture has taken place.  This seems to follow the sixth seal but is not part of it.

Along with the sealing of the 144000 in the same chapter, the rapture of the great multitude is placed between the sixth and the seventh seal.  When the seventh seal is opened, there is silence in heaven for about half an hour but there is no further description about what happens when the seventh seal is opened or it’s significance.

It is likely that the sealing of the 144000 Jews and the rapture of the great multitude are linked to the opening of the seventh seal.

In the literary style of Revelation, the descriptor follows the naming of the first six seals but with the last one, it is preceded by it’s descriptor.  This is also the case with the trumpets.

The Lamb is the only one worthy to open the scroll which is more than likely a chapter in the book of life containing the names of the Sons of God.  (there is also another chapter for the ungodly heathen pagan nations that is opened after the millennium at the Great White Throne)  When the seventh seal is opened, the scroll is opened and the Sons of God are revealed.  This seems to be the event that leads to the Great Multitude appearing in heaven as a result of the rapture and the first resurrection.  This must also be the point that Christ returns to redeem the Church.

As soon as the seventh seal is opened, in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, the seventh trumpet sounds and the dead in Christ are resurrected and the living believers are raptured to meet Christ in the clouds and so will remain with Christ forever.

http://truthinlove.com/References/TheRapture.html

Romans 8:18-23

18I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.

For creation waits in eager expectation for the Children of God to be revealed.  Once the Lamb has opened the scroll which is a part of the Book of Life, the names of the Children of God will be revealed.

We should eagerly await for our adoption to sonship which co-insides with the redemption of our bodies.

The Little Scroll is a part of the Book of Life

If the seventh seal is synchronous with the seventh trumpet, then the Little Scroll could well be the scroll that the Lamb is opening one seal at a time in Revelations 6:1-8:5.

The Great Multitude in white robes in Revelations 7:9-17 would, therefore, be the rapture of the Church at the Last Trumpet.

Could the Little Scroll be the same as the Book of Life?  Once it is opened, those who are saved are resurrected or raptured to be with Christ in the clouds.

The Church is judged separately to the Nations (Pagans/Gentiles).

The Church is called up to be with Christ in the Clouds when the seventh trumpet sounds. They stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ and are judged for the things that they have done in the body of Christ. At the same time, false christians in the Church are sent to hell by the angel in charge of the fire (Revelation Ch 14).

The pagans who have died are not judged until the end of the Millennium at the Great White Throne.   Those who are alive when Christ returns will suffer the seven bowls of God’s wrath and will be separated into the Sheep (who were kind to God’s people) and the Goats (who persecuted God’s people).  Some of these ‘Sheep Nations’  will be allowed to continue to live on Earth as the Nations during the Millennium.

Some Pagans (Gentile / Nations) escape the Lake of Fire and are allowed to spend Eternity as the New Nations basking in the Light of the New Jerusalem. They are even given the Leaves of the Tree of Life for healing and they are allowed to enter the New Jerusalem once a year. It therefore follows that these nations must not have accepted the mark of the beast as they were not thrown into the Lake of Fire. It also follows that their Names must be in the Lamb’s Book of Life as they are allowed to enter the New Jerusalem once a year. When they are judged at the Great White Throne at the end of the Millennium, if their names are not in the Book of Life they are thrown into the Lake of Fire.

The Book of Life must, therefore, contain the Names of Pagans who were not thrown into the Lake of Fire.

The Book of Life is opened once at the beginning of the Millennium to judge Christians and it is opened again a the end of the Millennium to judge pagans.

The Born Again Believers’ names are listed on the Little Scroll which is part of the Book of Life.

The Names of Pagans who are spared the Lake of Fire are listed on a separate scroll (let’s say it is called the ‘Big Scroll’) which is also part of the Book of Life.

The Little Scroll therefore contains the names of born again believers in the New and Old Covenant times. When it is opened the Believers get resurrected (if sleeping) or raptured (if alive).

The ‘Big Scroll’ contains the names of all Pagans who are spared the Lake of Fire and are destined to be the Nations in Eternity.

Both the ‘Little Scroll’ and the ‘Big Scroll’ are therefore pages or chapters in the Book of Life. They are a subset of the Book of Life.

Christ comes at the seventh trumpet to rapture the Church and raised dead believers to be with Him. Then God will pour out his Wrath on the Nations of the Earth dividing them into the Sheep and the Goats.

Legend1

The Harvest at the End of the Age. A Great Multitude of believers (Wheat) are raptured to be with Christ when he comes on the clouds at the Seventh Trumpet at the End of the Great Tribulation. This co-incides with the First Resurrection which is when dead believers (also wheat) are raised to be with Christ. False Christians (Weeds) are also harvested from the Earth at this time by an angle in charge of the fire and they are thrown in to Hell for eternal punishment. The Nations are left on Earth and are divided in to the Sheep and the Goats according to how they treated God’s people. Those that persecuted God’s people (the Goats) are thrown into the Lake of Fire. Those that were Kind to God’s people receive a reward. They will become the Nations on Earth during the Millennium and in Eternity if they do not rebel against God when Satan is released form his prison at the End of the Millennium.
